This is no resort. This place is a DUMP and infested with cockroaches!!! I checked into a dirty room with smudged mirrors, hair on the countertops, dusty coffee machine and lamps next to the bed, I’m nit not picky so I over looked that, however, when my daughter opened the toilet to find urine in the toilet, that was the final straw. I called the front desk to complain and they sent up the housekeeping staff whom were rude when they came to clean the toilet.
Then, I woke up at 1 am and found a cockroach on my toothbrush in the bathroom!!! I sent a text message to the guest services that has been texting me regarding our stay and sent pictures. I asked to be switched rooms but they only offered to move us to a worse location room on the first floor with a view of the parking lot. No thanks, I don’t want to be closer to the ground where there are MORE cockroaches!! So I just asked that my room be thoroughly cleaned and sprayed for bugs.
After going out to dinner tonight, I returned to the room to find MORE cockroaches in the bathroom!! I killed a baby cockroach on the wall and another one next to the shower. I called the front desk to complain again and they just sent someone to spray our room. This is absolutely UNACCEPTABLE at a so called “resort” that I paid more than $500/nt for plus their additional $40/nt resort fee. Ridiculous! I will never stay at an Opal Grand Property again.
