“This was the perfect place for our family of 6. Kids ranging from 5-11. It was a quiet little getaway with water activities that kept everyone entertained and contained since it was off the main water way. The hot tub, kayaks, paddle boards, and fishing were nice and relaxing activities after a long day of exploring the State Parks in the area. The kitchen was well stocked. Beds were comfortable. House was clean. Grocery store was 7-8 minutes away. Heating and AC worked well. Our kids……

“Truly enjoyed the stay, everything was clean and what you expect for the price of this rental. Only complaint is Neighbors, yelled at one of us to get off the property (On the water line, Lot Llines were a little vague with not-so-straight “sticks/post” maybe a couple feet over while standing in the water?) while my daughter was playing with me right behind the house. I understand this is Texas (I’m a Texas property owner as well) but seemed a little extreme when his grandkids were running all……

“House was perfect for our needs. Beds were excellent, with the bunk beds having outlets for charging your phone overnight. Our POC was readily available for any questions, and made sure our stay was excellent. While unavoidable due to the trees, the pool was heavy with leaves. It was cleaned our final day, but we did not use it. All in all, was an excellent stay that the whole group enjoyed. Will definitely be looking again in the future to bring the family for a weekend lake trip!”

“Our family group of 15 from ages 22-85 all had a great time. There were so many things to do at the house that we didn’t even consider an outing. The kitchen was well equipped. We had Walmart deliver groceries and enjoyed cooking all of our meals. Having 2 refrigerators in the main kitchens plus another in the guest house wonderful. There was an abundance of comfortable seating inside and out. The view is beautiful. We plan to come back. ”

“The house was spacious with plenty of sleeping accommodations. Unfortunately no ice maker or coffee provided. Every VRBO I’ve stayed in had k-cups. The sofa in the TV room was worn and stained, and the screened in patio was in need of power washing and cushion replacements for the sofa. The dock area is also in need of repair to make it an enjoyable spot. The neighborhood is quiet and the water view was nice,just needed some maintenance to make it more ideal for our party. “It was a nice trip for us. The pool and beach were excellent. We visited the berry farm and the Texas chainsaw massacre house/restaurant. The elevated patio was great place to unwind. If I had anything not positive to say it would be the wooden steps leading from the yard to the patio have some loose boards, but we were cautious and there was no incidents with that. I would definitely stay here again.”

“The house is as pictured with plenty of room for everyone to lounge, play, eat and sleep. We only used the bedrooms upstairs as we only had 7-8 people and one small dog but could’ve easily accommodated our entire family (15 adults, 1 teen, 2 tweens, a young child and 2 small dogs). We all enjoyed the game room, fishing out back, roasting marshmallows and spending time together. Would definitely consider going back. ”
