The water runs quickly here but also features some slower shallow swirls. If no one is booked next door, you have access to a great swim hole and your own personal tube run should you wish.
At the edge of the Nantahala National Forest and along a Scenic Byway and a Hatchery Supported River you will find some of the best trout fishing in the county. You might be the next one to catch the next large trout! Or, you could just enjoy a glass on wine while sitting on the river's bank in beautiful Adirondack chairs or in a 2 person steaming claw-foot bathtub outside.
