The beds were comfortable and the hot breakfast was very good. The location of the hotel was perfect for visiting Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse, and Custer State Park. Local restaurants, coffee, and grocery stores were all within 10 minutes. The staff was absolutely wonderful and very accommodating. I would definitely stay here again.

Traveling with 2 grandchildren, so it was nice to have separate bedrooms, and a sitting/dining area. The place looks great at first glance but it's pretty shoddy worksmanship, which I guess is no big deal because it's not like we're living there. The bathroom was in need of a good cleaning. It was great to have separate AC units in the bedrooms, and they worked well. Front desk employees were wonderful - so friendly, efficient, and helpful.

The front desk staff were very helpful and welcoming. All the lights and appliances work. Very clean bathroom. The room was clean and comfortable. We had a wonderful stay at this hotel.

The location was very nice. A walking/ bike path right next to the hotel that went for miles was nice, there is a fee for the path. Town was walking distance, helicopter rides about 5 miles a way and Hill city is a nice little town.

For starters, I had called to make a reservation for a room with a king size bed in it. It wasn't until check in that it was brought to my attention that what my reservation was for and what we received were 2 different things. Kind of mad us mad that we were not informed of this. You are expecting one thing but when you show up, it is different. Poor communication on the hotel's part in my opinion. The parking around the hotel is not very good. You actually have to park in the gas station's parking lot if you decide to leave the property at night and come back later. Not enough hotel parking spots for it's guests. Overall property was clean and amenities were good. Just wish the hotel would have contacted me on the switching of the rooms instead of finding out once you get there you are not receiving what your reservation was for. Maybe a discount on the room would have been the right thing for the hotel to do.

The hotel is beautiful and the room is comfortable and quiet. The parking lot was tricky to find space in, and not having an elevator makes second floor rooms a haul, but it's entirely worth it!

Staff was VERY FRIENDLY AND KIND. They were able to check us in a bit early which I appreciated so much. Room wise was good! It did get warm at night & there was no iron but these are things I can deal with. AC during the day worked great! Clean Rooms. I would stay here again !
