ROOM DESCRIPTION
Mountain Peaks Inn is family owned and operated. We are conveniently located on Main Street in downtown Hill City. This home has four separate suites, each with a private entrance. Please stop in for a cup of coffee or a pastry at Caboose Coffee Company on-site! All guests have access to a large front deck with charcoal grill and small metal fire pit.

Green Mountain Suite is a beautiful pine, log-accented, cabin-style suite which sleeps TWO guests. This suite has a personal outside entry which is accessed by following the boardwalk around the home, to the east side of the house. Amenities include: a queen bed, vaulted ceilings, a private bath with full tub/shower; mini-fridge, microwave, toaster, coffeepot, water kettle, tv/dvd, Roku stick, and ac.

THINGS TO DO IN HILL CITY
In addition to being in the heart of Hill City, South Dakota, a short walk from downtown, the Black Hills Central Railroad's 1880 TRAIN is just across the street. The popular Mickleson Trail follows Railroad Ave and East Main's sidewalk through town, with bike rentals just down the street. Historic downtown is a great place to explore with its local restaurants, various shops, and galleries.

Nice place

Very nice people just believe they were spread thin with other commitments they had as well. Friend and I had to clean air conditioner as it was filled with dust build up. Nice room and I would stay again. Lisa did keep in contact with us to take care of towels etc.

Great vacation stay in Hill City SD

The suite we had for three nights had a western theme to the room. Great location to walk down town or access main roads to the many attractions in the Black Hills. Hosts made sure the accommodation were clean and comfortable for our stay. Friendly staff.

Mini Vacation

We love the Black Hills in the fall and try to get there once a year. The 1880 Train Ride was on our bucket list of things we have not done in the Hills. Had a fun time. Visited friends in the Custer and Rapid area during our stay too.

Perfect Property

This property was perfect for my husband and I. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The added bonus was the coffee shop that is connected to the property. The breakfast was fantastic and the owners are very nice! We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Visiting friends in the Black Hills

Your place was everything as presented on your VRBO site. The only slight complaint is the amount of noise with the in wall air conditioner. Luckily, the daytime temperatures were 60-65, so didn't need to rely on the AC that much.

Bed and coffee

Super cute suite; great size for two. Loved the decorating! The tub was nice for soaking, but there was a shower as well. Could listen to the 1880 train as it got ready to pull out ☺️Handy to drive or walk downtown. And you could enjoy a coffee and yummy breakfast from burritos to coffee cakes or scones plus others we didn’t sample. Very nice hosts.

Relaxing stay
