“Our one night stay was amazing. The room was big and the bed was comfy. The rooms look exactly like the pictures, but it is a must stay if you are near Eureka. The whole Mansion was immaculate and what a treat to be able to stay in such a beautiful Victorian home. Thank you Jacqueline for making this unique experience possible. It is greatly appreciate it! ”

“We had a great stay. It’s a unique experience in a historical hotel. It felt like we stepped back in time in a really good way. We loved that we could walk around town to all of the cool shops and restaurants. There was a farmers market right out the front door on Saturday morning and it was beautiful. It was a breath of fresh air from the usual corporate hotels that don’t have character and charm. The staff was super helpful. We are already planning our next visit.”

“Room was comfortable and in particular, the bed. This time of year and there aren't many guests so it was quiet which is always nice. Only issues I came across were thusly: of three light bulbs above the bathroom sink, one was blown, this necessitated a trip to the front desk to get a replacement most hotels will provide a spare roll of TP but this was missing in my room. it was obvious that housekeeping does not wipe down the top of all furniture between guest(s) use of the rooms for all……

“Have not stayed here for several years. It has improved a lot since our last visit! Excellent reception employees. Hotel is now surrounded with a well designed and pleasant looking security fence. New paint. The hallway has new carpet and light fixtures which much improves the ambiance. Although these rooms are not fancy, nor do they have carpeting, they have freshened up the decor and they are clean. Excellent value for the cost as well. Will be staying here in the future while in the Arcata……

“This historic inn was incredible! Pet friendly and just a beautiful Victorian in. When you walk in, you can feel the history of this place. Walking the halls and stairs you feel like your in a time capsule. Everything was a site to behold. The tavern was great! Skilled bartender and awesome design. The cat art was avant garde but strangely cute in a very interesting way. Next time I'm in Humboldt county I'll be staying here.”

“The motel is the most dirty and most expensive one in my self-driving traveling history. Used toilet paper is floating in the toilet.the floor is covered by dirty oils.Service is very bad.Receptionist is impolite.”
