“Always a great stay at the John Bruff house! Location is perfect, great view of the harbor and even saw a free concert in the park!!”

“Location walking distance to everything, house well maintained, fenced back yard. The only thing that should be upgraded is upstairs air conditioning. We could not get inside temperature below 79 F on hot days. Maybe upsize capacity. Downstairs cooling was good. ”

“Our group of 16 friends and family had a wonderful time. The kids, ages 6 to 11, had their own quarters downstairs with plenty to keep them busy. The pool facilities and kayaks/SUP were a lot of fun on the river. We couldn’t have asked for a better layout for both fun and relaxation. Hope we can come back again!”

“Amazing location, gorgeous house, and great communications from our host. We can't say enough wonderful things about the stay at Chesapeake Landing. The house is as advertised and looks just like the pictures. We had two families of 4 staying there and hosted a celebratory birthday dinner for my mother in law's 75th. The kitchen is soooo well equipped and has anything and everything you could possibly need to cook some amazing meals. The house is set up really nicely for hosting multiple……

“The Woodwind house is our absolute favorite home to stay in on the entire Eastern Shore area. We stayed in late August 2025, with family that included two elderly seniors and adults and teens, and two dogs. The check in process was smooth and exactly as described. This is our third time staying at The Woodwind, and since our last stay the pool house has been completely renovated. With a brand new bathroom and sauna as well! And with probably the best view in the house!The kitchen is well……

The host was incredibly responsive and helped us book everything from a boat ride that picked us right up from the house’s dock, a perfect crab boil for a sunset dinner, and even a car service into town for a dinner recommendation. The house is gorgeous, comfortable, and very well-accommodated. We will be dreaming about sunsets and the memories we made here forever! Absolutely recommend staying here for a St. Michael’s……
