“Our stay in Illinbah was hugely anticipated, and more than lived up to expectations. The cottage is simple but beautifully decorated with fresh, quality furnishings and modern fixtures. The kitchen is well stocked with really lovely crockery and glassware. The hosts have anticipated their guests beautifully - we had everything we needed and nothing we didn’t. “Katy the owner was so friendly as well her dog Butler. Beautiful river which is easy access from the cabins. Our stay was short due to other committments during the day but by night it was so peaceful. We bonded because of no wi-fi which was great not having kids or us on technology. Different experience for us from our normal hotel/motel stay but we loved it. ”

“It was a great stay, despite the rain. The next day, when the rain cleared, the views were fantastic! We couldn't get the hotplates to work, tried everything, and perhaps an instruction brochure or pointers would have been helpful. Apart from that, the apartment is beautifully appointed, with great heating and fantastic beds! I will definitely recommend this stay.”

“This is a "Tiny" house - very small to what we expected but at least it has a large verandah with an outdoor table & seats plus 2 sun chairs where one can sit out and admire the lovely mountain view. Ample power points. Firepit out the front with BBQ hotplates & mesh grill was used every day & for us this was the highlight and the reason we chose this property. The immediate surrounds are untidy and ugly - mainly old building debris which should be cleaned away if it's to be used for……

“Fulfilled all our needs and was really spacious with super comfy beds. The peacocks are a giggle. We had a friend come and stay with us for 2 nights and she found the futon comfy too.”
