It was absolutely horrendous not only is it falling apart and smells, but there is no air movement at all as the air conditioner, kept flipping the GFCI, the room smelled like mold, cigarettes marijuana. The sheets were dirty and stained. There was no door to the bathroom. Everything was falling apart the chair was covered in mold. There were still remnants of poop from the previous guest. Police were all over the property.

The room was dirty, if I could have left at 2:00 in the morning when I got up to use the bathroom I would have turned on the light and a army of German cockroaches were all over the place, moved my luggage out of the room and put it in my car right away. Very disappointed

I’m not gonna lie I read reviews and was skeptical but to my surprise the staff was extremely pleasant, great price for the stay, clean hotel, no bugs and hot breakfast. Can’t beat this place and the staff! I travel a lot for work so finding GOOD cheap hotels is a challenge but this one is a hidden gem.

I did not get the room that I booked, I booked non smoking which I showed on the itenery, the lock on the door could not lock, the room stinks of smoke and the staff was very uncaring. I couldn't go anywhere else because it was late at night.

Apparently if your a local you can't stay at this hotel because of other locals but why not just ban the locals that mess up y'all rooms why make someone that's has nothing to do with nothing pay for someone else bull crap I lose out on $86 because of this

First, there was no internet the entire stay, even though it was listed as included. The water came out yellow at one point, which was disturbing and felt unsafe. The curtains were stained and falling apart, the ceiling was flaking, and the floors were greasy and gross. On top of all that, we were locked out of our paid room, with our dogs and all our belongings stuck inside. There was no front desk staff available, only a useless virtual kiosk agent who claimed we didn’t have a reservation — after we had already checked in and paid. This didn’t get solved until about 2 hours later which was terribly inconvenient as we had somewhere to be.

First room floors was filthy part of ceiling hade came down was queen bed not king as I had ordered asked for a different room was given a room with king bed . Room was cleaner a lot of rust on lamps missing one lamp. They had to find a remote to get the TV working air conditioner was noisy and to small for the room . Would never stay there again and will tell everyone I know to avoid it.

Passing through to our vacation house. Once we had gotten to the hotel it seemed clean. Once we got to our rooms TV didn’t work, had no water for a long period of , but not fault of Econo Lodge. The two other rooms that had been booked, one had no tv and phone the other room didn’t have a phone and tv did not work. Although most everything was remedied the room were not set up no where the same, two table instead of a dresser and so on.

You get what you pay for

The lady at the front desk was so wonderful. The property was run down and I found 2 small roaches while I was there. Breakfast was free but not great. Popcorn and cookies at 6pm was fun and the price was unbeatable. I had to stay 2 1/2 weeks until my place on the island was ready.

The listing on Hotels.com described the property as “Econo Lodge Inn & Suites Hardeeville I-95” and claimed it was the newest hotel in town. However, upon arrival, the signage simply read “Econolodge” (see attached photo), and the condition of the property clearly contradicted the claim of being new or recently built. In fact, the facility appeared outdated and poorly maintained. This experience felt like false advertising, and I would not have booked the property had the listing been accurate and transparent. I trusted the information on your site and felt misled, which significantly impacted my travel experience. I request that you review this listing for accuracy and take appropriate steps to ensure other travelers are not similarly misled. I would also appreciate a response regarding how this situation can be rectified. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
