“The Beehive is a quaint little getaway perfect for a small family looking for some peace and quiet. The property was clean and comfortable, with the added touches of fresh bread, milk, and marmalade. The gated property provides a great sense of security and privacy, and the adjacent garden is perfect for playtime. The hosts were very helpful and welcoming. And if you have the chance to visit the nearby Aviation Heritage museum, do take the opportunity.”

“Everything was perfect.. I can’t think of anyway this could be improved. Great location, apartments were immaculate and really lovely decorated. Everything really well thought of. Can’t wait to return sometime soon. The most important things were that it was great for our children and our dog!! We spent our first evening at a local pub then walked home with a takeaway, next day at the market and shopped around the village. Cooked some amazing steaks from the butchers. Then the following two days……

“We stayed with 16 friends for our Stag/ Hen weekend. House was fabulous - size, decor and comfort of rooms were great. Only put 4 stars for accuracy of online listing as we were expecting a BBQ and hot tub but couldn't find them.Very close to corner shops, pubs, restaurants and a park.Host Jonathan was very informative of all the helpful info we needed to know about the house and communicative with our questions pre stay.Would 10/10 recommend! ”

“Great place to stay with dogs. Nice rooms and a kitchen. They also provide EV Car charging which I took advantage of for £20/day. This property does not come up on the Hotels.com search filter for EV charging locations. ”

“Bright, spacious & in a lovely location. Perfect for 2 couples or family of 4. There were chocolates & wine on arrival. Uncertainty about check in details, because I didn't receive the code to the key lock. Luckily the property was unlocked & key was inside. Issue with guttering kept us awake at night due to heavy rain. The maintenance man attempted to fix it on day 1 & day 2 without success, but since we were only there 3 nights, we didn't bother ringing him on day 3. Also, nowhere to dry wet……

“A wonderfully quirky cottage, but with everything you need: a well-equipped kitchen; some of the comfiest beds I've slept in; big sofas for lounging on and a landlord who's quick to reply to questions. Ideal for a family - bedrooms are adjoining. Thoroughly recommended. ”
