My first stay at this hotel was a disaster. I had prepaid for a three-night stay from April 24 to April 27, 2025. During those days, the city was preparing for a major event, and some roads around the hotel were closed. However, guests could still navigate the area, sometimes by foot.
My departing flight was scheduled for April 27, and I needed to reach the airport by 11 a.m. On April 26, I inquired at reception about road closures and was informed that the hotel's street would be closed from 3 a.m. to 12 p.m. on April 27. However, the closure was so strict that guests would not be allowed to leave the hotel during that time.
Upon receiving this information, I had no choice but to check out early. Despite this, the hotel refused to refund or even offer a partial refund for the last night, which I was unable to stay. I also noticed that the hotel chain had another property near the airport and asked if I could transfer there at a reduced rate, but they denied my request. In the end, I had to book another hotel at my own expense, paying for two hotels on the same night.
Even more frustrating was the fact that if I hadn't proactively asked about the road closures, I would have been completely unaware of the situation—potentially missing my flight. The hotel made no effort to inform guests about this significant restriction, which was extremely disappointing.
