“The home was cozy and clean. The host was AWSOME and nearby if a need arose. The pond and covered dock made for great views and we saw a plethora of fish and other wildlife. Town is nearby yet it’s setting is rural and the Atlantic Ocean is only an hour away. We will be back again and I would not hesitate to recommend renting this to others. ”

“The home is beautiful with plentyof room for a large group or family. I would suggest extra towels and paper products for thebathrooms and kitchen. Other than that its awesome! We wi be back!”

“We loved the cabin. Walked to the lake on the first day and was surprised that the walkway just ended in the weeds with no dock or cleared bank. Maybe there was another path we didn't see. Was not a big deal. We ended up spending our time in the cabin and exploring the surrounding communities. Overall great experience and would reccommend this property.”

“The pictures of the property were very appealing. Once I arrived the pictures did not do the property in my opinion justice of the surrounding canopy of trees, palm fronds and just how much of an actual retreat the property is. I throughly enjoyed the time spent and was able to decompress in the quiet and beautiful spaces that the Satilla River Cabin has available. ”

“We arrived the day after Christmas to a tree lit and waiting in the living room. Plenty of space and easily slept my family of 9. You do need to expect a bumpy ride in, but worth it to be off the beaten path. Such a nice stay!”

“House looks beautiful in the pictures, that’s why I am assuming there are no outside pictures. Not a good area, didn’t feel safe. Didn’t get the address until after the time allotted to cancel but even once I got it shame on me for not verifying the location. Received the access code 2.5 hours after rental started and was driving from MI so was panicking because not much communication and after asking yet again for code it took over an 1.5 hours for her to give it. Was told they were cleaning……
