“This home is beautifully decorated with lots of amenities. The living area is spacious, kitchen is well-stocked with two types of coffee makers, blender, crockpot, and everything we needed to cook for our family. Kitchen towels, bath towels, beach towels and bed linens were provided and beds were already made up for us. Such a nice touch! There was a closet with lots of games and books and even a drawer with flashlights for beach walks. The pool area was wonderful with plenty of chairs.……

“The kitchen was great with plenty of space for multiple people to move around and plenty of seating for all of us. We found everything we needed to fix breakfast, lunch, dinner or reheat takeout. The 2nd living space was great to have, especially if you get up earlier than everyone else. The bedrooms were good size with ample storage and the beach was a short walk. ”

“This is our second stay at the Purple Porpoise and our family of 10 had a great vacation both times.Things we loved: Location, view, marsh, house design and outside spaces. Suggestions: Extra towels, fridge way too small for 10 people and ice maker was anemic and fridge took a long time to cool back down after loading it. A large salad bowl and some regular cookie sheets would be nice. Sharpen knives. One broken beach chair and a lounge chair by the pool needs replacing. None of these,……

“Right across the street from beach access. Property management company was very responses with the few issues we had (trash can already full, minor damages to interior). Overall very pleased with our stay!”

“Very clean, updated, well equipped kitchen. Loved the kids bedroom for our 5 gkids. Had full bath with 2 bunk beds. Full size beds (2 kids ea) on ground and 2 twin beds above. We rented for a full week so we had the daily tent service which we all loved. It could shade 5-6 people at a time.”

“We stayed here for the 4th of July and we enjoyed this house so much that we secured it for next 4th of July before we left. Check in was easy. I had a few questions when we first arrived and response time was quick from the homeowner. We had 2 boats and 2 kayaks and they all fit. We just secured the boats beside one another without blocking the canal for other boaters. Location was perfect! Public beach access was almost right off this street.
