We were greeted warmly when we arrived & offered suggestions as to where we could eat. We tried most of the suggestions & enjoyed all of them that we tried. Room was cleaned daily, bed was made & fresh towels provided if we indicated that they were needed. The owners are very friendly & helpful & we plan to stay there whenever we’re in Saugatuck.

The husband was extremely nice and helpful. The wife didn't acknowledge us the first 2 times we saw her, but she was very nice when she checked us out. The breakfast had bagels, cereal boxes, and juices only so we went elsewhere. Overall, very nice facility and we would definitely recommend.

The motel has an old school family travelers road motel feel, but is brand new and private and safe. The room felt newly renovated with a nostalgic feel. The check-in with Crystal was fast and easy. There are ample pieces of information for finding what you need while at the motel and regarding the surrounding area. The walk to the Saugutuk waterfront is an easy 15 minute walk. If you’re not a walker, there is a shuttle for $1 cash only to “downtown” Saugutuk. The hotel provides a beautiful outdoor seating area and a fire pit in the “backyard” if you want to cozy around a fire. There are also cafe settings outside the room to sit and watch the trees. We were there on a couples getaway and found it perfect for that. I can’t speak to how a family with young children would like it. We loved it. We’ll definitely be back. Absolutely love the place. We’ll be going back often as we visit the west side of Michigan. They were very accommodating very kind. The rooms were excellent strongly. Suggest considering you make reservations next time you’re in that area.

We were very happy with our stay. Everything in the room is is excellent condition and the rooms are very clean. The owners are very friendly and happy to answer questions and give recommendations for dining, etc. I forgot my iPad charger and they called me as we were leaving town so that I could come back and get it. Definitely recommend.
