Jacob, the receptionist can be barely seen in the check in desk. He was really rude to us and I felt discriminated being Asians and members of LGBT. Gave us room that still not cleaned, even though we arrived later than check in time, gave us only one key working even we needed two (he insisted they only give one, although he gave me two keys upon check in, one was not working), made me go back an fourth for my key concerns, and gave wrong info about breakfast time (to all other clients who checked in with him). I gave my concerns via email to the area manager before I send this review but he didn’t respond. All other staff were friendly and helpful, but Jacob really made our stay so stressful, hence the bad rate. Jacob never apologized and made me wait multiple times with my concern with alibis of texting his manager (he cut me off while I was telling him my concern with my key) and then made me wait again even the guy who he was trying to check in said he can wait and Jacob can work on my concern, Jacob just shrugged his shoulder and stated “oh that can wait”. The other staff was very accommodating and tried to rectify all the concerns like the housekeeper who apologized for the long wait for our room and the kitchen staff gave all other guests what they needed for breakfast (since Jacob said breakfast was until 10am but it’s inly until 9am).
So far, the hotel was very clean with a decent free breakfast. The area is really peaceful at night even it’s by the road.
