“Gorgeous cottage, clean, comfortable and quiet. Lots of places around to visit and lots of lovely restaurants. Bakewell is a lovely town, lots of shops and eateries. Highly recommend Chatsworth house, the gardens are amazing. Had gorgeous meals at the Derbyshire arms, just a short walk from cottage and the Chakra lounge, a beautiful vegan/vegetarian Indian with gluten free options in Bakewell. ”

“We were double booked into the house we had paid for but we were taken to a different one around the corner. For the price we paid it was adequate and clean. Sharing a bathroom with 3 lads who had also been double booked into the same house was not too much of a problem and having a fully functioning clean kitchen helped to catering costs reasonable. ”

“We had a lovely stay in this lovely cottage. The views were so beautiful! The cottage was cosy and had everything we needed. The location was perfect for exploring the Peak District. We would definitely recommand and would love to come back!”

A perfect spot for family and friends to visit, and we were within walking distance of shops, pubs, and a park. Daniel was very quick to answer any questions we had. “Lovely apartment. The stairs provide useful training for any walks you might be planning (lol). The kitchen was well equipped and a generally sure location. Anyone over 6 foot tall may have to duck to get under the shower properly but that wasn't a problem for us.”

“Great communication from owner before & after stay. property was clean, but tired in places. We were heading to Alton Towers so was a perfectly good place for 1 night at a reasonable price. ”

“The host never got in touch with us. We was out hiking in the Peak District and was on edge as the host wasn’t replying to us. Calling kept going to voicemail. We raised this issue with customer support however they couldn’t get in touch either so they had to cancel our booking and refund us. So we had to drive home after waiting outside of the property and spend even more money on fuel also. Absolutely shocking. Hopefully this host is removed from the site for wasting our time.
