“Eight of us stayed in Jimmy's home as our base for climbing Croagh Patrick. The home was sited beautifully just outside of Westport and impeccably clean. There was space for eating outdoors, which was a must given how pretty the property is. Jimmy was a great host and timely answered all questions we had before the stay. If you're looking for a cozy, beautiful home in the Westport area, you cannot do better than this property. It won "best house" in our after-trip poll. ”

“Beautiful, spacious property. Practical Details for Americans: they have a water kettle not a coffee pot, so purchase instant or bag coffee before you come, not beans or ground. They have a washer and dryer. You need to bring pods and be aware, it's a condenser dryer that takes about 2 hours to dry a verysmall load (5-6 items). Be sure to empty the dryer water tank. It's muddy on the property, so bring slippers or alternate shoes plus something to put your shoes in to protect your suitcase.……

“My friend and I were looking for a place off the beaten path where we could relax and immerse ourselves in the Irish countryside. Our one month stay at Teich Titanic far exceeded our expectations! The cottage is located between the villages of Cong and Clonbur and has nearby hiking trails to both. The cottage is on a 2 mile long road lined with beautiful farms with amazing stone walls and lots of sheep, cows, and horses to visit. By car, we were able to enjoy day trips to Galway, Westport,……

“Of the many visits to Ireland I've had, this could probably be my favourite cottage of all. The location is absolutely amazing how it's tucked away between the hills. The inside was very cute and cosy. Loved the nearest town, Oughterard, which had a lovely coffee spot, several grocery options, and an amazing pub. I didn't want to leave, and can't wait to come back.”

“This georgian house is impressive but in great need of some TLC. Mary the house keeper/property manager does a great job of keeping it clean and tidy but there are serious things that need addressing in order to maintain the house: the house has damp - stained peeling wallpaper shows this, as do the mushrooms growing out the beam by the front door. I'd urge the owner to get this under control before it takes hold of the property. A few features in the description are untrue: there is no games……
