Bjerkøya Island is located at the far end of Sandebukta, west of the entrance to Drammensfjorden, and beckons with protected nature. The hiking trails on the island take you through a varied and beautiful coastal landscape. You can also take the ferry to Verket on the peninsula, Hurumlandet, and explore the Holtnes valley. Take cycling tours as well as a boat trip and visit the beautiful islands in Holmestrandsfjorden. Kayaking is of course also a nice idea.
