I understand this is subjective and probably only a con if you have young kids like we did but I figured useful info for families. -We got the pizza add on which turned out to be stressful and very difficult. The pizza oven took hours to heat up which we would have liked to know ahead of time before paying and we had to use coal so it didn't get up to a high enough temp. After hours of……

“Family travelled to Ladysmith for a winter reprieve and to spend time with friends living locally. Ladysmith is a unique place, centered well between Victoria and Nanaimo. The rental provided all the comforts of home, was very clean, extra bedding and towels (always a plus!) and so spacious for us travelling with 3 teenagers. Loved the view, and everyone was able to relax and enjoy our time together. Host was very attentive, checking in with us to ensure comfortable stay. Instructions and……

“Very nice host, private lovely accommodation, close to river and trails stunning location for outdoor adventures or relaxing and enjoying the view. Already plan on booking again soon.”

“This unit is a 4 plex. Shared balcony, but separated by metal. Noise travel across the balcony including crying children and loud TVS. A one floor unit, car parks in front. Balcony view over Port Renfrew is amazing! Lots of room, on the balcony comfortable outdoor chairs. . The unit is quite new, and finished well. We did not enjoy the couch, where the seats are sloped downwards. The sofa bed doesn’t seem to fit in well. The other living room chairs are low and require a cushion at the back.……

“Great place for a friends or family get together! In the heart of Ladysmith but close to beach area. Clean and bright with everything as advertised!”

“We really enjoyed our stay here. The kitchen had all the essentials you could think of. The sauna was a lovely addition and the house slept 6 people very comfortably. Close to the beach and lots of fun places to explore! The only thing that seemed missing from the kitchen was maybe a can opener and a barbecue could be nice as well. Overall we had a wonderful stay and we hope to be back!”
