This has been a very strange experience in not complete alignment with other international hotel stay experiences i have had for last 30 years. First and foremost, the breakfast spread was arguably the weakest for the price we paid additional even against some other breakfast spreads in, such as Taiwan and Japan. I requested an extended checkout but the door pass stopped functioning and i had to line up in the long checkout queue to get it fixed, impacting my plans. Finally upon checkout the hotel did not want to void the HKD2000 hold on my credit card, attributing to time required for credit card companies to process. I pushed back and said it was very different from other hotel policies i have encountered and they finally succumbed to my request. But above all the lack of appeal in the breakfast is the biggest setback, little wonder other on line forums have had quite negative remarks about this hotel's catering services.
