It was ok but the decor was a bit tired and I had expected a better class of hotel. The hotel was tucked back behind the Aqua Palms hotel. It was near the beach but not on the beach. One couldn't just cross the road to get to the beach, needed to walk to crossings to the left/right of the hotel to be able to cross the road.
If you are a light sleeper, this is not the hotel for you, can hear traffic all the time, even hear people from the street and I was on the 14th floor!
Great to have a microwave, fridge and deposit box in the room. However on one day, there was the smell of stale fat but I hadn't cooked anything. The bus stops are close by. Very near beach and the Ala Moana shopping centre, with local shops to pick up some milk, etc, but very expensive.
