“This historic log cabin is within walking distance of the center of downtown Anchorage and is always a joy to come back to. Small and cozy - 2 or 3 people can be comfortable. Love this place!”

“We loved how remote we felt, even with surounding neighbors on most side views in the windows. The cozy cabin was clean and it felt like home as soon as we walked in. Everything was well maintained and for a first timer in Alaska and renting a cabin, we were really impressed. Would recommend highly. Probably the only dificulty was getting the key from the lock box, we had to play with it a little bit. But I guess thats a good thing. We werent prepared enough to bring blankets so we used the one……

“My husband and I stayed for a week here for an anniversary trip to Alaska. We really enjoyed our accommodations- the cabin sits on a beautiful woodline and moose frequent the area! We had everything we needed while at the Hideaway cabin- our hosts were very kind and communicative and provided valuable information of the surrounding area. “Our stay was brief and unfortunately the cold/windy/rainy weather meant that the float trip that we came for didn't happen but we could certainly see that Eagle Landing would be both a comfortable and enjoyable location to enjoy the walks and the river activities. River Lodge is beautifully appointed, great to have 2 bathrooms, plenty of hot water for a bath, upscale appliances,beautiful rustic decor, many lovely outdoor sitting areas to enjoy the river and mountain views.”

“Excellent option for anyone needing a home base in Cooper Landing or an early morning start on the river. Two clean bedrooms and 4 beds with full kitchen and grill for a reasonable price. Amazing view of and access to the Kenai River! Only drawbacks are: road noise since you are on the busy Sterling Highway and no table inside to play games or sit everyone around for a meal. Outside picnic table is provided. Also, step up into the bedroom and bath area from the LR/kitchen is a bit hazardous……
