“This was our 3rd year at La Playa. Staff is awesome. Rooms are very nice. The beach & ocean are right on the property. Just my recommendation is change the breakfast up a little. Same stuff every day. 4.5 stars.”

“We had a very nice stay here. Staff was great and the rooms are nice. The location is beach front with KKO restaurant (location for free breakfast and recommend having lunch there) providing chairs. Easy walk to the other restaurants in the Orient village. Great location for a relaxing beach getaway!”

“The hotel is old but kept in good condition. The location is near perfect. On our previous stays we enjoyed very much the beach cafe directly from the hotel. It had great service and food, plus tiki huts for rent. This time the cafe was closed for renovation and we had to use the next one were the beach boys were outright rude and the food is mediocre. Stay away from KKO beach!”

“My wife and I spent 5 great nights at Pomme Cannelle. We loved our hosts, loved the feel of our room, the private hot tub, and the beautiful pool. Orient Bay was a 2min drive down the road and had really great dining, and a great beach. In addition there was great supermarkets only minutes away as well to bring back great quality food to eat in the private outdoor kitchen. We truly loved our stay!”

“Such a beautiful hotel and quiet. Impeccably designed. Wonderful staff (Hidalia was so friendly and helpful). Marion (owner) was also very welcoming and sweet. Super hands on. The perfect relaxing girl’s trip. Highly recommend coming here and would come again in an instant. ”

“We spent 4 nights at La Hibiscus. Really enjoyed everything about it. Florian gave us a free upgrade to the Jasmine suite. Large, comfortable bed, great shower and bathroom. Great terrace for sunning and looking at the mountains. We had the pool to ourselves which we loved. Very hands off approach by management which meant great privacy which we like. Only 5 minutes to Orient Beach….great choice of restaurants including a couple of breakfast places. Will definitely come back. FYI….renting a car……

“Lovely host. Fantastic communication. Incredibly accommodating, without having to ask. Offered us an early check-in and a late check out, as we were between houses and somewhat homeless. Great breakfast. Nice common areas. Incredibly safe. Bonus of a really comfortable bed, which is rare. This is a great place to stay a couple days. Unfortunately we were only here overnight, so we never got to enjoy all the amenities. ”

“With the assistance of desk staff , Tacoma, a personal property loss at the airport was resolved with his efficiency, knowledge, and kindness. kudos to him! Property appears to be in need of renovation and updated maintenance. Stairs difficult without a working elevator. No ability to lock the sliding doors to ground level balcony. AC less than adequate - never got room temperature below 80*”
