“The property was great, very spacious with plenty of room for our extended family, 7 people total. Everything was well taken care of. The kitchen was very well stocked, and communication was great. Location was terrific, with lots of great shops and restaurants. One thing to be aware of is that there are several flights of stairs to get to the flat. That was a bit of a surprise, but we were able to manage it.”

“A very nice, well-equipped cottage in a delightful village. Lovely walks from the front door, e.g. Lathkill Dale. The hoards of motorcyclists gathering in the village, and in other Peak District villages, on this sunny Spring weekend was a nuisance but didn't spoil the experience. ”

“This is not a 1 bedroom house as advertised. It’s a roadside shed with a pullout sofa. That you cannot walk around when extended to a bed. I have been emailing the host and management company since checkin time nearly a week ago with no response.”

The shower is over bath by necessity, owing to the original dimensions of this cottage; slightly tricky getting in/out of the bath if you’re 6ft tall, though it can be done.
