“Quick overnight stay. Lovely place. Very comfortable. Had snacks, drinks and bathroom amenities available. If I’m being very picky- could have used a mirror in bedrooms to get ready in the morning. A toaster in the kitchen would have been a plus. My daughter left a ring behind and owner messaged me with a picture to see if we wanted her to mail it back to us. So nice!!”

“We loved the front porch and back deck. The front swing was a great coffee spot and the neighborhood felt safe and was very cute. Lots of families with young children and dogs walking around. The property is full of historic charm. Hardwood floors, moldings and nice sized bedrooms. We were very comfortable in this house & area. Close to downtown and Greek Village. Plenty of on street parking. The host was very responsive.”

“Overall, we had a good stay. There were some concerns with the cleanliness/maintenance as we had to sweep the floors and clean two of tubs upon arrival. The property has modern conveniences but could use better general property maintenance (ie, no can-opener, not enough forks, broken glass in dishwasher, caulking, the loose staircase rail, loose floor boards and touch-up paint, etc…). Lastly, ensuring that the patio is clear of leaves and debris prior to check-in is another important note. There……

“First of all, I have to acknowledge the assistance of the owner who, when she learned of the dicey situation we found ourselves in, really worked to make the house available to us for three weeks on very short notice. The house was cleaned well and could easily have accommodated our entire family of eleven, although we never had more than seven people in the house at the same time. The house has great bones, with plenty of spaces where family could either gather together, or anyone could steal……

“Nice amenities listed on site but some were not available to use. For example nice fire pit but zero propane. TV in sitting room wouldn't come on. And basic necessities in the kitchen like trash bags would have helped. Otherwise a very nice house. ”
