This fact is even more so if you stay at Hotel ITC Ciudad de Haro. This hotel is about a 25-minute walk uphill to the downtown area and you must cross a highway, which we were told multiple times is officially illegal. Santo Domingo de la Calzada es un pueblito muy pintoresco y pequeñito, por lo que la ubicación del hospedaje es perfecta, alrededor tienes locales con restaurantes, terrazas para tomar algo, boutiques, farmacias, lo que requieras, todo a pie a 5 minutos. “Very nice, light, spacious, clean apartment recently renovated and 5min walk from Calle Laurel. No reception - the check-in and arrival process is all explained through email and WhatsApp and you perform a self check-in to receive the room card in an electronic kiosk - but this all worked flawlessly and in case of questions etc. the response through WhatsApp or via calling was excellent. I booked parking too which is right next door and access works with the same room card. Highly recommended……
