“Stunning house in a lovely area! The bedrooms were roomy and comfortable each with a bathroom. Living spaces were a good size and nicely furnished. The communication before from Stef and Nikki was exceptional and we were provided with lots of info to make our stay more enjoyable. Hot tub overlooking the river was a nice touch. “Had a lovely 3 night break at this property. It’s nice and spacious with comfortable beds and extremely clean. Everything necessary for self catering is there and I would thoroughly recommend it. The shower has great water pressure too (this is important to me!) Within a stones throw of a couple of pubs which both have lovely gardens on the water and serve food all day. Jump in the car and the local area has plenty to offer too. We had our dog with us and he loved the walks - no need for a car……

“A really nice house, spacious and bright. Superb location. It would be helpful if the switches in kitchen and hall had an explanation as to what each was for. The en-suite shower enclosure needs upgrading and taps in both bathrooms need to be descaled. The en- Suite shower was so difficult to stop it dripping we used the shower in the main bathroom after the first day’s stay.”

“We stayed in Hawthorn cottage in December 2017. We had the most wonderful experience. The cottage was immaculate, spacious, and very comfortable. The owners of the cottage were friendly, we felt very welcomed. We would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone for a relaxing retreat away from home and would love to return again.”

“What an absolute gem of a property. Overlooking the sea, it was ideal. Sightings of seals in the morning was an added bonus. Parking can be tricky, but nothing that the owners don't convey. Highly recommend this any season. We wished it were a bit stormy, as the view is out of this world Thanks Nikki and Stef.”

“The directions we received to get us to the cottage were very confusing and no use whatsoever. We had to knock on doors and ask locals. This was such a shame as we discovered if we took a different road from the A1064 it could not have been more straightforward. Never the less, we had a lovely holiday in a great location, very friendly hosts and we loved the cottage. Would love to go again.”

“Two girlfriends and I had a lovely retreat at Steph and Nikki’s spacious and airy house. We enjoyed the garden, with sofa, table and fire pit. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed for self-catering. I plan to rebook with my family as it seems like an ideal holiday home if you have small children as the garden is closed off from the road and there’s plenty of space for them to roam around.
