“It was the perfect fit for me and my hubby. He is on crutch's due to a botch hip surgery many yrs ago... anyway the house 1st floor is very handicap friendly. The master bedroom bed was comfy but very low to the ground. And bring your own pillows. Not many there. The one thing we were really looking forward to was going out on the dock, but I think between the storm that had come and just wear and tear on the wooden pathway to the dock, it fell down. “The place was as advertised: comfortable, clean, in good location.The property managers were easy to reach and very helpful.We stayed during the off season (mid-December) and many establishments were closed. The VRBO fees were a bit excessive considering it was off-season.Overall, we had a very relaxing and pleasant trip”

“House is located in a great area with water views and access to a dock that is excellent for crabbing. Bedrooms are spacious and each with its own bathroom which is very convenient. Even the dogs had their own welcome treat bag for which they were grateful! Easy to communicate with the owners. Will be sure to keep this house on my list for future visits to Chincoteague!”

“It was the perfect layout for our family of 6, including 4 young kiddos who loved the double bunk room (I do wish more places had a double bunk setup because it’s amazing!) . The property is super walkable to all the Main Street fun and most things elsewhere! The property managers were fantastic, kind, and responded very quickly. The house was clean upon arrival. The kitchen was surprisingly stocked with seasonings and other kitchen must-haves that most rental places don’t provide! If I had to……

“Have been coming to Chincoteague every year for 30+ years! LilyPad2 is by far the nicest place we have ever stayed. Home had plenty of room, comfortable beds, and all the cookware needed. Plenty of parking for 3-4 trucks, private deck, and a charcoal grill which worked out perfect. We will be back next year!”

“Couches and chairs have stains, bathrooms were not clean, food was found in microwave upon arrival, kitchen door to deck was almost impossible to open. Lights in closet did not work, bed in downstairs bedroom was on concrete blocks. Overall this property was not inline with the rental price that was charged. We have stayed at numerous rentals and this was the most disappointing.”
