“We were living in the room close to the main road. It could be quite haunting during the night and I was almost sleepless during the first night. And I have to leave all the lights on to make it looks like people are awake. I tried to use the hot bath but the room is locked all the time. Hotels.com is definitely responsible to manifest a 10 out 10 rating in this hotel, it’s simply not that good! Strongly won’t suggest ladies and kids to stay alone. ”

“The house was great, we stayed so my husband and brother in law could do the Tongariro Crossing. We all stayed including the kids and there was plenty of room and had everything we needed. Our family also did a day trip to Ohakune and Waiouru, which is a short drive from this place.The house has a fully equipped kitchen, and bedsheets and blankets are provided (although the booking confirmation mentioned we need to bring our own). “We loved the house; spaciousness and location were good, except there was no snow :( Communication with the owner was quick and easy. However, instructions for cleaning/leaving were not given so there was some confusion about what we needed to do. We had noticed that there were some areas that had not been cleaned for a while, then met the person who came to change the beds and apparently that is all she does? So - clearer instructions please, we would have cleaned if we'd known we had to.”
