“The hosts were kind and attentive, and the property had lots of options for entertainment. From the dock with boats and waters full of fish, to the fire circle and indoor entertainment spaces, they were all great. The house was clean, comfortable, and well appointed. We will be coming back.”

“Ed and Robin were so friendly and attentive. Fixed the bedroom fan immediately. Place was super clean.Was a little disappointed to have to bring bath towels and bedding…but that worked out fine.It is a modular, however with the deck, fire pit, and lake made up for it! ”

“It's clear that this is a cherished and well-maintained property! The host was warm, friendly and welcoming; without her recommendations, we would've missed some of the most beautiful sights to see in Ithaca! Treman park nearby is a must-see.The yurt was super comfortable, and we felt lucky to be a small part of its history. There is a nature reserve behind the property, a beautiful gorge within walking distance. Highly recommend this stay, for anyone wanting a special experience in Ithaca!”

“Location was amazing, house was clean and roomy. The only bad thing was the parking garage . It’s not too close to house and instructions to open it were never conveyed through the email . We had to contact maintenance to see how to work the garage doors . They did answer promptly. Overall it was a pretty view and relaxing atmosphere.”

“We had a fabulous time at this property. Jeff, the host, was close by if we had a question (or to share some breakfast with him!). The home was comfortable, with all the amenities we needed. It was a great location for what we had planned.....hiking waterfalls in the area. It was close to grocery stores in Ithaca, and shopping too. When, and if, we are back in the area, we will definitely book again with Jeff!! Thank you Jeff!!! ”

“The property was extremely outdated and infested with bugs all over the windows and few crawlers on the floor. The AC was useless, barely cooling the room in the sweltering summer heat. The property manager was awful, telling us to find another hotel at our own expense when the power went out, leaving us without electricity, water, or working toilets. Do not stay here—if the power goes out, you're on your own with no backup generator, no support, and no basic amenities. Not recommended.”

“The moment I spied the inviting bronze fox door knocker on the orange door, I knew Michelle has created a unique space in which to unwind & be. I loved the beautiful wood countertop, the warm octagonal ceiling, the vintage clawtooth tub, the life affirming greenhouse window, Matisse's "Joy of Life" on the wall, the colorful birds on the curtains, & the natural light that abounds through windows and/or doors on 6 sides of the Octagon. “We had a wonderful stay at the Mallard Cottage. Views from the deck were spectacular, witnessed a full moon rising in the East and delighted in the beautiful end of day light glowing in the fields below. The cottage was bright and airy with several windows affording views and natural light. Clean and cozy and had everything we could possibly need. . ”
