“We had a great stay in this property. It is clean, well equipped and in a really handy location with the train station close by and a nice couple of wee pubs up the road. the house itself has a modern kitchen and main bathroom as well as another bathroom on the top ( 3rd Floor ). Bedrooms have good space and are clean and well maintained. It is an older terraced property over three floors and with the bedrooms and bathrooms on the 2nd and 3rd floor, it might not suit those with mobility issues,……

“This cottage was just perfect for us. Clean, tidy, cozy...all we could ask for! Great location...easy walk from cottage to the center of Grassington with it's shops, pubs, visitors center & sites...walk in the other direction & you are minutes away from walks on the Dales with scenic vistas & idyllic beauty. Host provided lots of info at cottage about walks and sites to see. We loved our time here. Highly recommend!”

“Beautiful cottage on the edge of the Lake District. Great location as it’s a short drive to most popular Lake District attractions. Stunning scenery and spacious cottage make for a relaxing getaway. Kev welcomed us when we arrived and recommended places to visit including the local pub for pizza which was lovely! 100% recommend this cottage for anybody looking to visit the Lake District. The hot tub was a luxurious bonus which helped us relax after a long day of hiking. ”

“This was our 2nd stay in Carr House. It’s a great home with fantastic outside space. We love Kirkby Lonsdale and visit at least once a year. We have stayed in many properties all of which have been lovely in their own way. Carr House is our favourite though.
