“Rented the house with a three-generation family group for a long weekend to attend a wedding in a nearby town. We all loved the house…plenty of historic charm with modern comforts in kitchen and bathrooms, and a gorgeous setting. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch to read, chat or drink coffee with the sound of the rushing creek in the background, and had fun playing horseshoes, pool, and exploring the creek. “I took a risk renting a place with no ratings, but the pictures of the hot tub and sauna and the accommodations drew me in. I was hoping to have a mini spa-like experience with my girls up in the woods of NY state. It didn't turn out like that. The host told me the hot tub and sauna was available for use. I asked a couple of times prior to arrival how to use them. My questions weren't answered. I hoped to find written instructions or a booklet after arrival. There were none. We discovered: ·……

Nice touches on home to make it welcoming, including lots of pet-friendly add-ons! One of the best features the deck off the kitchen with a beautiful water view. Host is very friendly and available for accessibility questions. ”
