“Booked this property for a stay in the Reading area while visiting my parents. The house was comfortable and clean which we all appreciated. I did not have much communication with the host (not his fault; I didn’t reach out much), but when I did, he answered all of my questions and the check-in and check-out process was simple with a key lock box out front attached to the porch railing. “The property was so easy to find and absolutely gorgeous… the place itself was so well thought out with everything you’d need and you literally won’t be able to stop saying how cute everything is. From the goodie basket left for us to the gorgeous outdoor spaces - absolutely nothing fell short of expectations. Very much enjoyed our stay here and when I’m back in PA this will be my first option every time! ”

“Was a great house to stay while we visited some family and went around the Lancaster area. Great place for us and our dogs to stay. They loved the turf doggie area. We had a small issue but Doron was there within the hour and super helpful. Even followed up the next day! Couldn’t have asked for better hosts. Our dogs loved to lay by the back door in the sun. Super close to everything and tons of places to eat within a 5 minute drive. ”

“My wife and I took my mother out for ger vacation in Pennsylvania. We lo ed the house. The owners were aweaome and even had portable step available to make getting in and out easier for my mother and disabled wife. Highly recommended”

“Overall house was average in good location. Few thing to consider for future guests - Parking can be tricky as it only offers 1 spot. -Also, thermostats can’t be controlled by renter. We had situation where 2 fl was cold and 3 rd floor was very hot.- very limited linen and pillow (2 per bed). ”

“We came to Pottsville for Yeungling and Hawk Mountain Sanctuary, and The Carol Century House couldn't have been more perfect. The house was charming, and that part of the street was pretty quiet. It was 12 blocks from Yeungling and a few more from a variety of restaurants. There were two streets parallel that had gorgeous houses. It was a perfect neighborhood for walking our dog. The house itself was adorable. Very clean and very nicely remodeled (in fact, I want that master bath in my house!).……

“It was lovely and peaceful. It wasn't a high class, high tech rental but it had high quality appliances and amenities. The price was cheap and the house fit what we wanted perfectly for a 3 day getaway. Cute, quiet, peaceful, and cozy. It was cold, probably under 30 the entire stay. We enjoyed the hot tub many times. We will definitely return this summer to enjoy the pool and pond. ”

“Nice, clean house conveniently located for short drive to Hershey. As noted in description, the neighborhood is noisy....trains and street noise all night long. Sound machines in the bedroom were a nice touch and helped a bit.”

“Three generations stayed at Sweet Retreat for a little getaway. Our plans did not go as planned but no worries, Sweet Retreat made up for it! Super comfy beds, a nice sizzled kitchen (the second fridge was great to have). The backyard was our own little oasis. We would have spent more time there if it rained less. Super easy communication with the owner. Will definitely consider staying again. ”
