“Great summer cabin vacation spot! Close to Copper Harbor and access to the Nordic Spa was a wonderful bonus to our trip. ”

“What a pleasant surprise for us when we arrived at D's Base Camp. Located right off the highway. Staff very friendly and ready to assist when needed. We had 3 spacious bedrooms with each having room for 3 to sleep. Two full bathrooms, very clean and roomy. We also had a nice living room and kitchen. While we didn't cook, it appeared to have everything we'd need to cook, if we had chose to. I definitely would stay again, when in the area. One thing to note is the lodging was on the 2nd……

“Our stay at Lazy Bear Lodge was fantastic. The cabin was better than I could have imagined. It was so clean and you had an instant feeling of home when you walked in. We came up to the UP for our elopement at Black Rocks. We had a few people we were close with (9 adults 3 children) stay with us and this cabin accommodated us well! They spray for mosquitoes so even though you are deep deep deep in the woods you’re actually able to be outside. The owner was amazing and very responsive! The cabin……

I specifically loved that all the windows were opened when we arrived to let in all that U.P. fresh air! Mark was an incredible host! He was friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. He was especially accommodating to our 4 young children. We will definitely be back! It is truly the perfect spot to stay! ”
