“We have stayed at many, many VRBO’s and this one is at the top of the list! The host is amazing to work with. I shared that my dad had had a stroke and wasn’t sure if I could commit to the stay so didn’t want to reserve the home until as close as possible to the intended date of our stay. The host said she would reserve the home for me and if my dad took a turn for the worse, she would cancel our stay without having us pay. That is DEFINITELY going above and beyond. Outdoor spaces were equally lovely, a perfect setting to gaze at hundreds of stars on a clear night. The location is great with an amazing coffee shop offering superb homemade goods within walking distance. The host was wonderful and very communicative as needed. I sincerely hope I can come back to Sweet Gum Cottage! ”
