“Such a lovely welcome. The view from our balcony was stunning! Very comfortable bed and everywhere clean. Really lovely evening meal and superb breakfast.”
“Lovely place to stay - we were welcomed with a lovely cup of coffee and biscuits and sat in the beautiful garden. Room was perfect and we loved the whole place will definitely be staying again.”
“Very friendly welcome to the hotel and a bonus to have separate beds for the children. Pub/restaurant was nice and had the added bonus of darts and a pool table.”
“Wonderful experience in this exceptional property. Grounds were amazing and on right on the Norfolk Broads. Breakfast was indeed an occasion and the food was first-class. The complimentary 2 hours per day in the Spa was a treat and the property is only a short walk to the two ”
“This is the third occasion we have stayed at The Recruiting Sergeant and hopefully it won't be the last. We received a prompt and friendly check-in on arrival and were shown to our first-floor room which was a good size, as was the bathroom. Both were spotless and were kept that way for the duration of our 4 night stay. Overlooking the road caused us no concerns. Great choice of good quality food for breakfast and we had our evening meal there on 3 of the 4 nights. Superb choice of food and wine……
“This is a wonderful place to stay at. Every thing is perfect. Staff helpful. Rooms great. Parking is great. Decor is excellent. Well maintained. Lots of places around to visit. Will use again any for sure.

“ Booked overnight stay following a music event nearby. Booked Riverside Hotel, but they obviously own several properties nearby. Our room was in a converted house up a side road so sadly no Riverside view. Room was very preventable. Needs a net curtain at window to aid privacy, better quality mattresses and pillows. Cleaner needs to look up & dust light fittings. ”
“Old fashioned service with staff who make you feel welcomb nothing to much trouble. the breakfast was excellent I would highly recomened and will return soon. thank you for your efforts. Ian Burgess”
