We were traveling for sports and our team picked this hotel because of the location, pool and breakfast. I tried to sign up for the rewards program when I checked in, but the front desk said they were unable to help at that time. When we got up to our room, our carpets looked like somebody had walked through with wet feet. They were dark and soiled. After speaking with other teammates, this seemed pretty common throughout the hotel. Another teammate was told that they weren’t able to switch rooms because they were pretty much sold out.The pool was clean and the kids had a good time swimming. It was very cold! Breakfast had the potential to be awesome and we really looked forward to the advertised cinnamon rolls. Breakfast went until 10 in the morning and by 815 they were out of a lot of the breakfast food. Staff informed us that they were “cleaned out early!“ And there was no intention of making More. Several disappointed kids (and parents) resulting in us having to go out to breakfast and spend a lot more money. It would have been understandable if we arrived 15 minutes prior to it closing. One of the perks of traveling is being able to sleep in and not have to worry about making breakfast if you pick the right hotel. We didn’t get to sleep in and we missed out on a good breakfast. Overall, it served its purpose for housing the team, but Not likely to stay again.
