“We really enjoyed our stay here. Our family does a yearly family vacation and when we are somewhere we take day trips to surrounding areas. We were able to let my step daughter see her grandparents on her mom’s side who she hadn’t seen in years. We also took a train into the city. It was nice to be able to come back to the quiet of this little place to relax and get ready for the next day. If we return to New York we definitely will look at staying here again. ”

“The cottage was very comfortable and the location was very picturesque. It is on a quiet road across the street from a river, which not only offers a great view, but also the soothing sound of flowing water. The interior was beautifully renovated with modern day comforts, while preserving original traditional details that add to its charm. I will definitely be returning in the warmer months to enjoy the outdoor amenities offered. ”

“My boyfriend and I stayed here for Thanksgiving weekend. It was quiet and peaceful, and the house was spacious and well appointed. Would love to come back in the summer to take advantage of all the lake has to offer! ”

“We stayed at this retreat in the woods for a 3 day concert run at Bethel Woods. It was clean, quite & close to the venue. The yard was huge and we spent lots of time at the fire pit. Our favorite beach on the Delaware River was only 12 minuets away so we spent our days river side. Plenty of parking and the host was very helpful with our questions. We will definitely be rebooking!”

“We absolutely loved Debra's place! It was the perfect setting for a weekend getaway. The cabin was well adorned and had everything we needed to relax and enjoy the amazing Lake Wallkill community. We felt like we were immersed in nature but at the same time we're close to Mountain Creek resort for biking and many stores/great restaurants. Being right next to the lake was great for enjoying sunrises and sunsets too and it was a quick walk from the front door. Debra was an outstanding host-her……

“This property is incredible. The cabin is so unique! It’s like a giant treasure chest. We were a group of 5 adults and 6 kids. “Great spot with river view, lovely wooden interior for cozy cabin feel. Wood stove for a nice evening by the fire, but modern heating. Well appointed kitchen. Hot tub fantastic. Fire pit looks awesome but didn’t get to use. On a scenic road along the Delaware, 10 mins to port jervis restaurants and bowling alley memory lanes. Milford worth the trip, great Main Street walkable shopping. Raymondskills falls was cool. Nice owners very easy to communicate. To turn the shower on, pull the little knob……

“Stayed for three days with my partner. Cabin is a small place with a bedroom, living room, kitchen and bathroom. The size wasn’t an issue since it was expected. You’ll maneuver yourself through if you’re a bigger person. It is next to a running stream that you can hear from the bedroom (very calming). Note: it is about 20-30 yards away from a main road, so any traffic that goes through there you will be able to hear. It wasn’t that much but it’s not a being secluded in the woods quiet.”

“This cabin is truly a hidden gem. Nestled on 45 private acres and right beside stunning waterfalls, it’s the most relaxing and peaceful place I’ve ever stayed. Perfect for a solo traveler or a couple looking to completely unplug and unwind. The large deck overlooks the falls, and there’s a separate spot down a short path with a fire pit and Adirondack chairs—pure magic. The host was fantastic—thoughtful, responsive, and respectful of privacy. Though we never met in person, he checked in through……
