“Stayed here as a quiet base to walk the 3 Peaks. Very peaceful and not too far away. The only negatives for us would be that there were no teabags/coffee, sugar, salt & pepper. We have stayed in many cottages and this has been the only place where there has been nothing at all.”

“Had a lovely stay at the cottage that felt very much like home. Absolutely beautiful views from the garden. Just wish there had been a bar b q. Perfectly situated to get out and about with a great choice of castles, waterfalls and coffee shops to visit. The host is always on hand if needed. The cottage was well equipped definitely a wonderful find”

“Loved the location, woodland walk on your doorstep with stunning views. Pub open Wednesday to Sunday offering great food and drink. Dog friendly, amazing! “We loved staying here! Kitchen had everything, inc. a cafetière, salt & pepper grinders, dedicated drawer of superbly sharp knives(!) & a resident kitchen spider who earnt her keep by catching a mosquito! The bed is huge - could easily fit 3 people! (Duvet cover is a bit noisy/rustles like taffeta when it moves, so light sleepers with partners prone to nocturnal limb flailing might be kept awake by this. The antique wardrobe was ace - I enjoyed the labelled shelves based on sartorial stylings……

“We had a great stay here and really enjoyed the area and the property. My only two things to flag that I would have changed. Were it was only very near our stay that we were informed we would need to bring our own towels. We felt this should have been highlighted before booking. And we were disappointed that there was no milk to start us off as it is quite a rural area and we arrived later in the evening. ”
