“We had a peaceful stay here while we were in town for a few days.The cabin was very cute, clean, and the neighborhood/ neighbors were very quiet. The steps into the bathroom and bedroom were illuminated and the upstairs loft was a cool getaway for our teenager.Recommend taking a bigger vehicle that can take a rough gravel road.”

“We greatly enjoyed our weekend in splendid isolation within this spacious, tastefully decorated, comfortable and well appointed house. The living room is larger than it appears in the pictures, and there are games, puzzles, and books in good condition. The separately controlled baseboard heat in the bathroom is a nice touch. “We were visiting family at West Point. The Cottage was clean and quiet. We didnt spend much time there as we were with family during the day. It was perfect for the two of us. One thing I would change is the some information on the listing. West Point is not a 6 minute walk. It’s a twenty minute drive.”

“We needed a place to house our extended family of 9 for a few days near Newburgh and Fishkill. This place was perfect! There was plenty of space for everyone, and everything about the house and property was top notch. We also visited Cold Spring and Beacon, both of which are cute little towns with lots of character. The backyard firepit came in handy too when we entertained some local friends. Ida and Matt were great hosts and were responsive to our every question and need. If/when we are back……

“Everything we needed for our stay was within walking distance. Allowed us to see our West Point cadets (2 of our children are cadets) multiple times a day while visiting. Also allowed us to feed them & their friends a home-cooked meal during our visit. Relaxing and comfortable house.
