“Do not go here. Terrible service, bad food, tiny run down roomes that come apart (shower fixtures falling down etc.). We had to give back the food as its was so bad. Customer service did not help at all - no discount provided. This place may have been good 10+ years ago. No upgrades to any of the dirty old furniture since then. Today it is a dump. ”

“One of my family members was sick so we decided to stay an additional night. The day before I went to the hotel's reception and asked to book the additional night. They said they couldn't do it directly and suggested using a website. I tried booking the additional night through the hotel website but it was not working, so I ended up booking it through Hotels.com. The next day when I visited the reception to make sure the reservation was extended, the lady mentioned I needed to do the check out……

“The service level at this hotel is terrible. Don’t be deceived with the beautiful surrounding forests and the well marketed architecture. There is almost no service. The staff is like floating clueless ghosts and everywhere in the hotel is freezing. The food is also terrible. Nawelpi is certainly not a 5 star hotel. I’d like to meet the person who gave 5 stars to this hotel. At best it’s 3 stars. The indifferent attitude of the staff is unforgivable. In the room, almost nothing works. ”

“Personal amable y preocupado. El refugio familiar esta en un lugar hermoso. Vista maravillosa a la desembocadura del lago. El depto es comodo y limpio. No obstante, le hace falta mantencion. Litera se cayo sobre uno de los niños. Las ventanas abrian con dificultad. Desgaste general. La cocina le falta equipamiento ( hervidor, microondas). Le faltan servicios, al menos desayuno y bar.”

“The good: - Staff were very friendly and fun. - Convenient location (between the Huilo-Huilo Lodges and the main gate). - Cheaper than the main HH lodges but you can still eat there. The so-so: - Breakfast is served late (9 am) and they are not really ready then either. - If you are leaving early a breakfast is made available but is very poor. - Internet was only only in the lobby building and of moderate speed. The bad: - Rooms were very cold and hear must be turned off during……
