“This was a really excellent place. Cozy, light filled and charming space. Big windows and sliding doors make for lovely indoor and outdoor ways to enjoy the river view and nature’s surround sound. “We came in July to visit Sequoia National Park. It was hot in Three Rivers when we were there-each day over 100 degrees. The house was comfortable despite that. The nearby town was cute and had some places to eat and shop. The park is spectacular. Appliances worked well. Insects not surprisingly sought refuge in the home.We would love to return-when the temperatures are a bit cooler. ”

“We booked Rose Retreat not really knowing much about the area but wanting to be close to Sequoia Park. The accommodation was perfect so beautifully set up, immaculate and the hosts so helpful with a great location near to the park entrance We just wish we could have stayed longer ”

“Pros: The cabin was cozy, spacious, and clean, with a large living room. It had one room with two queen beds and another room with two single beds, which was great for our group. The kitchen and dining area were also clean and well-equipped. Cons: There’s no on-site laundry, but there are a few options nearby. The good review & clean laundromat is the Lakeside Market and laundry, about a 30-minute drive away.”

“Super cute cabin to stay in and come home to relax in peace after long days in the park. Some bugs in the cabin and lizards all around it, but you’ll have that in the country! Was a little disappointed, the ponds aren’t as advertised for fishing as they are not maintained and one pond isn’t available unless you rent the specific cabin close to it. Overall we had a blast though and the bed is comfortable. ”

Alleen geen checkout instructies, dus de sleutels ingeleverd waar we ze ook hebben gekregen tijdens de self checkin.”

“We only spent one night and was able to enjoy the grants Grove of the Kings Canyon National park. Concerns that we had: 1. A Beautiful grill was provided, but The propane was empty. The closest propane is 25 miles away. 2. There are no smoke detectors in the unit. Due to the fact that there is an unvented gas heater as well as the water heater in side the cabin… Smoke detectors as well as a carbon monoxide detector should be, and pretty sure legally mandatory. This should be given immediate……

“There is NO place more convenient than this little cabin for a stay near King's Canyon or Sequoia National Park. It's quite literally in the park and while the cabin is over 100 years old, it's been wonderfully renovated to allow for modern conveniences while still retaining it's rustic charm. Wonderfully stocked kitchen, including dishwasher. Modern bathroom (with a heater IN the bathroom so you stay nice and toasty getting out of the shower in the winter! “Great little place that is stocked with essentials, and more. The road up to the place is pretty squiggly, so keep that in mind if you get car sick! I had to be the driver in the area to avoid it. Because of the roads, it took a little longer for us to go to dinner on our first night and to get to the parks, so keep that in mind.We brought a lot of our own breakfast food, but did notice there is some easy food stuff like pancake mix in the cabinets, possibly from past guests, which is nice.
