“We stayed there to attend graduation at Bucknell. It’s on a beautiful piece of land, which made for beautiful photos of the family with our graduate. Communication was great and everything was just as it appeared online. Well stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. ”

“We stayed in a cabin so my comments only apply to our experience there., The property is very pretty, there is a pond or two, a shuffleboard course, a mini golf course and a playground or two. There was a pool but it was closed when we were there (late Sept). The two small issues that I would bring up are 1) the showers seem to be either completely hot or cold but nothing in between and 2) mattresses in the cabins are a bit stiff. Not a problem for us but it may be for others. ”

“Me and my friends just spent our New Year's here for two nights. The man cave lives up to its name-- we spent a good deal of the weekend playing pool, darts, and card games, used the grill, and were just a few blocks off from some great food and liquor stores. I'd imagine any sort of group would enjoy coming here, though, given other advantages like access to trails and monuments in historic PA. Everything worked just as we wanted it to, and Mary's filled out the space to create a great place……

“Overall, it was a great stay. Location was perfect for a weekend of relaxation and fishing. The refrigerator was dirty so we opted to not use it along with one of the comforters on the bed. I emailed the property manager and received a quick response. Outside of that, it was great!”

“The cabin was cozy and secluded - a great way to spend our anniversary! The weather wasn't great, but we were only 15 minutes from our favorite antique mall, and we spent the time at the cabin watching old movies on VCR, reading, and just relaxing on the porch. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen had all the necessities we needed. ”

“This farm house had everything we needed. Privacy galore! Enjoyed family time sitting around a campfire listening to the frogs sing from a nearby pond.House was clean and beds were very comfortable. The host immediately responded to any questions we had. We were able to take our dog who had lots of space to investigate. A most enjoyable couple of days at “Grandmas House”. ”

“A scant quarter-mile walk from the cabin to board Ole Smokey. A spacious property, bordered along the rear by the small river feeding Knoebels’ Crystal Pool. It has a small but nice two-seat veranda right at the water’s edge, an excellent place to take morning coffee. The interior dining area has a large window facing the river. Furniture, carpeting, curtains, floors, trim, ceilings, walls - all clean, nice, and in good repair. Good water pressure and plenty of hot water. Plumbing fixtures……

“We spent two nights to enjoy a full day in the state forests. The cabin was very clean. It's exactly as pictured. A small space with a couple beds and a table. The showers are a 2-3 minute walk from the cabin, or a shorter drive. The check-in/check-out process was very easy.”
