Whether you're starting your day with a tranquil cup of coffee or unwinding in the soothing hot tub, this outdoor sanctuary is the perfect place to relax and recharge. The backyard, with its gentle slope to the water, offers easy access for swimming, kayaking, canoeing, or fishing. Complete with an outdoor table, plenty of chairs for gatherings, a gas grill, and a fire pit, the porch is the ideal spot to create unforgettable memories beside the Flint.

LIVING SPACE:
Step inside this charming cabin and be greeted by meticulously curated decor and stunning views of the river from every angle. Bedrooms 1 and 2, located off the main hallway, share access to a full bathroom. Bedroom 3, conveniently situated off the main living area, features its own full bathroom with a cozy claw foot tub dating back to the 1920s – perfect for soaking and showers alike.

Immerse yourself in culinary delights with a suite of stainless steel appliances and a fully stocked kitchen. This is the second year my friends and I have ventured to Huntsville for a summer concert. I can honestly say that I’d love to stay at this location every year after! The property is beautiful. There wasn’t a morning where I wasn’t sitting on the porch with a coffee in hand, enjoying the view. The house was very clean. The hosts were in direct contact at all times if we needed anything. We can’t wait to come back!

Great place to stay near Huntsville!

My family stayed here for a week and it was wonderful! We had 4 adults and 2 young children, and absolutely loved the covered patio and outdoor space. The house was just as it looked in the photos. There is a railroad track nearby (my kids loved seeing the trains go by) but it did not cause any disturbances for us. The location was perfect for us as well! We made many trips to the playground down the road, as well as day trips to the rocket museum, Monte Sano state park for hiking, and the railroad museum. We had a great time!

Family spring vacation

Such a relaxing place to stay. Loved the covered porch overlooking the river for reading and chilling. Clean and well stocked. So nice to have a washer and dryer. The only reason I gave the location 4 stars instead of 5 is the daily 6:30 train if anyone would be bothered by that.

Beautiful & Serene,This was a perfect escape after eloping in the mountains! The creek was a peaceful setting for morning coffee and the hot tub was extremely clean and just right for the season. Cathedral Caverns was a skip away and being surrounded by nature was just what the doctor ordered. Minutes away from downtown and a short ride to the lake, perfect place to unplug. Can’t wait to go back!!

Kelli was a wonderful host. Easy to contact with questions, quick to reply, and so kind. The house was like home away from home. Our kids (5 & 6) settled in immediately. We had plenty of quiet space to rest after a busy Summer. 10/10 would recommend and would stay again.

Relaxing

We were in Huntsville for a wedding. It wasn’t too far out of Huntsville at all. It was conveniently located to restaurants, convenience stores, and dollar stores. It was a great place to stay and very relaxing! Hope to visit again soon.

Returning for Relaxation

This is the second time my family has stayed at the river house and this time we brought some close friends. The property was just as great as the first time we stayed. The location is hard to beat with the tranquility of the country and the close proximity to Huntsville along with several other points of interest. Time to unwind

My partner and I enjoyed our time at the Vrbo. It was clean, safe, and comfortable. The hosts had done a great job ensuring that the needed items were available for guests and the hot tub was a nice bonus. We were slightly distracted by the trains at night, but running white noise on our computer resolved that issue. Needing to mask noise at night is something we do at home so that's just our normal. We will definitely check to see if it is available the next time we stay in Huntsville.

Wonderful spot

In town with kids for space camp, chose this over hotel and glad I did. Close enough to Huntsville for what I needed and lots of great hiking in the area. Very relaxing setting and stellar communication from the host. Definitely recommend.
