Beautiful building and lobby. Chic rooms. The only thing lacking is a super comfy bed but that’s pretty much the case for most Icelandic hotels. Would def stay here again. Food options in the dining hall are amazing.

Only one night here but a lovely spot with a little gift area and a food hall with a good selection. Rooms were clean and perfect with a window seat and a notice board with a map and things to do pinned to it. For some reason as in the other accommodation in Iceland this hotel also doesn’t supply face cloths we recommend bringing one otherwise everything was provided as expected. Would definitely recommend.

Lots of food options! However not one safe thing for someone with a gluten allergy to have … had to go to a different town to find something. They have a breakfast included but it’s just sandwiches or yogurt parfaits which again not safe for gluten free. Other than that a very lovely hotel !

I loved my stay at the Greenhouse Hotel! It was such a cute and aesthetically pleasing place—every corner felt thoughtfully designed and cozy. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. Parking was super convenient, which made things even easier. One of the best parts was the food hall connected to the hotel—so many great options right at your fingertips. Would definitely stay here again!

The bed was comfortable, everything in working order and the room made very efficient use of the space. The staff was courteous and efficient. There is great shopping and a variety of good restaurants in the hotel and nearby. The continental breakfast was elaborate. I highly recommend this hotel.

The Greenhouse (Gróðurhúsið) was marvelous! It’s in the town of Hveragerði, which is a little gem itself. It was a perfect base for exploring southern Iceland.

The staff here were very professional and friendly. They provided accommodations upon request such as a late check out when I went hiking. I interacted with multiple staff and each of them went above and beyond, including adding me to their wake up call list for view the northern lights and providing suggestions when I was out late and wanted food.

A beautiful place to stay! Right off the main highway with helpful staff. We’ll be back to relax a little more in all the cozy lounge areas and eat.
