“Excellent value, excellent location, about 5 minutes from the port, excellent amenities, very clean, and nice host. Shower had hot water, kitchen was well-stocked, there was a Nespresso machine and host provided some capsules, dry coffee, and a nice welcome gift. During our stay around Christmas, there were a few very windy days with highs in the low 50s F. Only negative was the rooms are drafty and with the strong winds even with both heaters running continuously, temps never got above……

Has everything you need & the courtyard to sit & enjoy coffee is a highlight. This certainly a steep ascent. Don’t forget your reading glasses for a day at the beach !! And communications re check in could have been a little more proactive. All worked out & went smoothly but felt v last minute. But otherwise it’s very sweet.”

“Charming seafarer’s cottage! It was in a beautiful location with incredible views over the water and the town of Hydra. Literally 5 minute walk up a stoney path to the nearest little beach with crystal clear water (bring your water shoes) with gorgeous views all the way. 20 minute walk into town with lots of restaurants available. Bit tricky to figure out the workings of the lights, water etc, but with our host’s help we figured it out. You may want to bring a few essentials like spices, hand……

“My spouse and our adult son and his wife had an amazing 10 day stay at George’s traditional stone house. The location is perfect, approximately half way between the Port and Kamini. It is right beside Techne Restaurant but 20 steps up to the door of the house which provides you with privacy from the restaurant and the walking path below and magnificent views. We spent most of our time on one of the two exquisite patios which offered both shade and sun, as you prefer. It is one of the best……

“Very easy to deal with and lovely stay at the unique property. It's located in a lovely part of Greece with the nearby town having loads of great shops and restaurants. The property was clean, well maintained and had loads of space for people to do their own thing. Well equipped to cater for yourself and some of the restaurants also did delivery. Couple of points: Mattresses are quite firm, some toppers available would be good. There was a couple of bedrooms listed that were not either available……

“What an amazing hotel!! The staff are all so lovely and can’t do enough during your stay. The breakfast is so delicious. Don’t make the mistake we made, and save dinner at the restaurant for the last night, because the food is extraordinary!! The location is ideal for walks along the harbour and all the major walking routes. The only minor thing I would change is heating the pool - but not a huge issue. ”
