“We were exhausted from all the political “news” and needed desperately a place to revive our spirits. The Old Swiss Village was more than we had anticipated. A view of the lake, clean, quiet place to stay, our dachshund Piper was welcomed, and top notch restaurant as well… it’s a must stay on our bucket list. Trevor, the host, answered messages very quickly. Any questions I had, the reply was within 5 minutes or less. Highly recommend this place to stay !!!”

“The location is close to everything. All of our family enjoyed making big family breakfast together and enjoying hot tub time and cooking out on the deck in the evening! In the area, we visited nearby pools and The Cave Bar and grill which the grandkids age 3, 7 and 8 loved!! I wish we could have a fire pit at the house to roast hot dogs and marshmallows with the kids. The WiFi was good and we were able to easily find kid movies on the smart TVs. Over all, a great family bonding vacation!”

“Loved the cozy and welcoming feel of the cabin! And the view from the deck is breathtaking! My only wish is that there was a tv in the bedroom. We also loved the location as it was close to the attractions we wanted but far away from lots of noise and people.”
