“Was in town for a Red Rocks show. Beautiful house stocked with everything you need nestled in the mountain. Very peaceful and great wildlife watching - we saw crows, hummingbirds, & deer every day. The drive up is a little unnerving the first time but overall safe. Go slow and recommend a bigger car for the dirt road. Kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, pots, tubberware, etc for cooking and grilling. This is pretty far from town and Denver but a nice get away. There is major construction……

“The location was beautiful-the cabin was well stocked with basics. The (almost) best part was the hosts being able to cater to my “fragrance-free” request. “We had a LOVELY time at this cabin! Beautiful views with a short walk around Lake Thorn. Close to Nederland and access to many nearby trails. The interior was so cozy and had a rustic cabin feel. Our entire family loved it, especially our young boys who "hiked" the "mountain" in three back yard. Thank you for having us! The Martinson and Fogle Families”

“Photos of the view from the cabin do not capture the true beauty of the in-person view! The location of this place is perfect! Very private and quiet. We saw eagles circling the sky, moose in the pastures, and deer in the backyard. We aren't avid outdoors people (the wifi worked great, the place was heated, the water was treated and hot, and we cooked our own meals, so we had no reason to venture out), but the views of the snowcapped mountains tempted us so we made our way over to St Mary's……
