Indian Heaven Treehouse is on a private street nestled within the majestic San Bernardino National Forest (but minutes from town) with tall pines and cedars. This first class, well maintained home will spell-bind you with nature. Guests have said the cabin has views equal to that of Yosemite. With double master bedrooms (Black Bears Den & Princess Red Feather) and a colorful fishing loft (which has a secret fishing hole for family movies and reading) this home is will be your unforgettable forest retreat.

Fantastic snowy winters, this quaint village has been voted best 100 Art towns in USA, wine festivals, Jazz in the Pines, Desert to Mountain Bike race, nearby Lake Fulmor and Lake Hemet.

This extremely special Mountain Home has neck breaking views w backdrops of the Monolithic Lilly Rock and Tahquitz Peak.

A custom designed "Indian Lore Theme'' that reflects the natural elements and beauty of the area with rocks, leather, fur, horns, old oil paintings of Bears and knurled Indian faces.

Home is at approx 6500-6800 altitude, can be snowing at my home and not in the town. In fact, snowmen have appeared on Father's Day!
Every escape to this remarkable retreat will warm your heart and memories, Exceptional custom bedding and towels, themed for each holiday; including accent pillows dining plates, napkins, coffee cups.

PS: pillow and sock fights are allowed.
IMPORTANT: Even though this is an open forest feeling, there are private property's, and my back yard stops at the giant satilite dish and continues to the left. You can snow play on my yard and on the main street when safe. Please no sledding on neighbor's driveways.

Great Family Getaway
This house is amazing, it's some warm and cozy inside with all the decorations and cool stuff (games and much more) for adults and kids to play with. The fireplace is AMAZING as is the front porch and they've recently added an amazing outdoor area (probably not shown in photos) with a fireplace and TV and more situated right under a gazebo in the woods. We've stayed here twice and will be back. Humber Park is right down the road for hiking and snowplay.

Perfect Getaway
The Native American Heaven Treehouse is a wonderful vacation spot! I was blown away by all of the amazing Native American art, design, crafts, and culturally-related books throughout the property. It's great to see someone lifting up the knowledge and awareness of the peoples who wisely oversaw this land for millenia.The stay was mostly quiet (there is construction just down the block) and it is easy to distract yourself inside the well-appointed home....and to forget there's an amazing backyard as well as hiking galore in the neighborhood. The drive to downtown Idylwild is about six minutes. Close but not too close. You really don't have to bring much for the stay here...just your clothes and some food! The linens, bedding, shampoo, brand new toothbrushes, utensils, appliances, microwave, fridge, oven, satellite TV, heating, fans, etc, made this the best-stocked place I've ever stayed.Finally, many thanks to Andrea for being such an effective and friendly communicator. Her messages were very informative about things to do in the area. Again, your biggest problem might be ever wanting to leave the house to do any of those things! :-)

A Perfect Retreat for Relaxation and Fun
My family and I had an absolutely wonderful stay! Andrea’s home was beautiful, cozy, and truly felt like a retreat. A weekend just wasn't enough to enjoy all that it had to offer. The game setup was such a fun addition and the welcome snacks yummy! My family especially loved spending time at the ping pong table. The outdoor electric fireplace was a perfect spot to unwind and relax, creating the most serene atmosphere. Andrea was an excellent host and most helpful with proving fun things do in Idyllwild. I definitely recommend staying at Indian Heaven Treehouse.

Indian style cabin
We loved this cabin! We loved the Native American decor throughout the cabin. The cabin was clean and fully stocked. The host Andrea was very responsive, helpful and offered alot of information about what to do in idyllwild. She is an amazing host. The cabin was very cozy and we loved the gazebo. The location is great, close to town and trail with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. We highly recommend this cabin and ar we going to try and stay in it again!

Wonderful place! Felt like we were in the wilderness
We had an amazing time, we only wish we could have stayed longer. The place was well stocked, the location is amazing. Surrounded by trees, truly felt like we stayed somewhere in the wilderness, yet the town is a 5 minute drive. We even were able to walk to downtown, although that's a half hour brisk walk. The host was amazing and provided us with tons of information about the area, was very responsive and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. Highly recommended unique place, we would love to come back one day!

Weekend in the Trees
We had a wonderful time at the Treehouse, a couple of the many decks are literally in the trees and are just amazing for hanging out. The kitchen has everything you may need, the beds are very comfortable, and the Great Room provides lots of space for everyone to relax, play games, and spend time with family and friends. Great place for a family get together
We met up to celebrate my mom’s 88th birthday. The owner went out of her way to spoil my mom and the rest of us. We had a fabulous time! My granddaughter adored the little room with all the teddy bears and the rest of us loved the comfy beds and plentiful amenities. A great time was had by all!

The house is super clean. The beds are super comfortable. Decor is fantastic - almost over-the-top. Andrea, the host, is great — providing everything we needed and anticipating things even we didn’t think we needed. She’s a good communicator and problem solver. Fantastic views from all porches & wonderful new gazebo & fireplace out back. Highly recommended — one of our favorite places in Idyllwild.

A Little Bit of Heaven
We are city dwellers -- hemmed in by property lines, rules and the small minds which make them, nosy neighbors, sameness, too much dull. Indian Heaven is not dull. It sits in the very lap of mountain and forest, has color, character, order, comfort, and is surrounded by Nature's grandeur. It is eclectic, warm, welcoming. To a soul seeking peace and civility in a madding world, it is a refuge. And the village which abuts it is a treat. Overall, a treasure.

The perfect getaway
My friend and I really needed a short getaway and this cabin was the perfect place. 1- the location was gorgeous with beautiful trees and mountain views. 2- the cabin was the most kid-friendly place that either of us had ever stayed at. Every possible game that my kids and friend’s kids could ever want was in the cabin. Costumes, animal toys, drums, board games, foosball table, ping pong, netflix and the list goes on. 3- We made all of our meals ourselves and the kitchen was well stocked with pots/utensils/serving wear/toaster oven etc. I needed a potato masher and a fine mesh sieve and we found both! 4- Andrea is great and easy to get a hold of. Only recommendation we have is to declutter the space by removing some of the figurines and decorative items. I would definitely stay here again!

Amazing stay!!
This property was BEAUTIFUL! This was our first experience on Vrbo and we are blown away by how amazing the host was. Andrea was beyond helpful with anything that we needed before, during, and even after our stay. Luckily, we stayed on a weekend where it snowed and it was our first time experiencing snowfall. The house was very spacious and outside we had the best time walking on the snow and using the sleds. The game room was the best touch! A huge thank you to Andrea for being so helpful when we were afraid of getting stuck in the snow. 10/10 would stay here again!

A Welcoming and Fun Trip for Our Family
Andrea's house has everything you could need for a really fun family trip. The home itself has a great layout for families and so many places/spaces for people to be together or scurry off to find their own quiet cozy spot to read. The kitchen had everything you need to cook meals. The bathrooms were clean and stocked with extra towels. The loft is adorable and comfortable. We appreciated that Andrea was so communicative and kind throughout our visit. Highly recommend.

Very peaceful and clean house
Andrea was great with keeping us informed if there was a possibility of snow and what to do in that case. She has ping pong table that was great for us to play with as a family. Bedrooms, bathroom and kitchen were very clean. Had plenty of plates, pots and pans ...very well stocked. Chimney was great and cozy. Thank you for the surprises and treats that were left for us. Indian Heaven Christmas
We had the perfect place for our Christmas getaway. Plenty of privacy with bedrooms on either side of the main room, and the kids sleeping upstairs in the loft. The kids had a blast with tons of activities and hideouts to relax and chill. The garage/game room was a hit, we hooked up the Nintendo switch on the big screen and had a ping pong tournament. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook Christmas dinner and the decorations set the festive mood. Everyone said it was the best Christmas ever. Great views from around the house, hiking trails a short way away and a quick drive in to town for shopping and lunch. We will definitely look at staying there again, hopefully with snow next time.

Great Idyllwild House
