From the warm welcome, to the accommodations, to the food, to the experience as a whole, we thoroughly enjoyed it! My fiancé and I were pleasantly surprised. “Our family of 4 stayed 3 nights in Auberge Les Roches. We arrived by rental car around sunset and were pleased to have a complimentary tajin dinner that night. The breakfast was good, and we made tons of use of the pool, which was a hit with our kids. Amazing dunes are just a short walk away. We were in the area for fossil hunting. A couple other notes: we had to pay for the room in cash only, which we didn’t get notice about until the day before checkout and nearly had a problem with because……

“Très belle expérience en plein coeur du désert. Les pieds dans la dune, littéralement. Service au top (diner copieux et très bon, mais à payer en extra) avec des jeunes adorables qui vous accueillent très bien (petit concert le premier soir). Le wifi ne marche pas dans les chambres éloignées de la tente commune. Pas grave mais faut le dire. Ils vont installer la clim apparemment. En attendant il faut vivre l’expérience authentique. Magique le soir avec les étoiles. Très joli "jardin" pour……

“It’s close to erg chebbi so you can see sunset there. We got a free room upgrade which is spacious and with good hot shower. Good to have free pickup to hotel from bus station tour prices quoted by the hotel is expensive. In the end we booked something outside and hotel personnel was apparently upset by this and didn’t provide us with free drop off from hotel to bus station.”

“Il Sanmao Desert Luxury Camp è un vero gioiello nel mezzo delle dune. Il paesaggio è mozzafiato, il silenzio rigenerante, e il tramonto sulle sabbie dorate è pura poesia. Le tende sono curate nei minimi dettagli, comode e perfettamente integrate con l’ambiente. Lo staff è stato gentile, attento e sempre disponibile. La cena sotto le stelle, accompagnata da musica tradizionale, è stata uno dei momenti più emozionanti del soggiorno. Un luogo che consiglio con tutto il cuore a chi cerca……
